A Network Built by Scientists, for Scientists
Chemical Angels is the only national angel network providing capital and expertise to early-stage hard-science ventures with a chemical component to their value proposition.
Founded in 2011, the network today counts 70+ members — most of them chemists and chemical engineers with decades of industry, research, and investment experience.
We invest across the three M's — materials, measurement, and manufacturing — with life science woven through all three. Our preferred industries span agriculture, biotechnology, chemicals and chemical products, clean technology, construction, electronics and instrumentation, industrial/energy, medical devices and equipment, mining, nanotechnology, oil and gas, semiconductors, and transportation.
Our members bring more than capital. They evaluate technology on its merits, conduct diligence as practitioners, and stay engaged as advisors to the companies they back.
